Is anybody able to advise if this is authentic.

Thanks for replying, I was just about to bid the item in an auction and you have saved me from adding to the growing number of forgeries I seem to be getting in my collection.
What auction? Maybe you should let them know.
Its on Ed Bedrick's new auction, that's why I was a bit surprised by Brandon's answer.
The item is actually in his store, not his auction, sorry.
Ed is UACC Registered Dealer, isn't he? I'd let him know what you heard if you'd like...point him here. Only Brandon opined on it, but I believe he's right. I've seen this style of Ford a lot and and it's called bad in the Star Wars forums.
Good Morning Folks ~
I have been speaking with Mike back and forth for a couple of days. Using his expertise in the many years of his collecting and being out in the fields. He has helped me a bit as well.
I try to, and do want to be one of the "good" guys out there fro you collectors. Which is why Mike has conetacted me directly, becasue he knows he can. As Steve Cyrkin has mentioned yes, I am a UACC member and registered dealer #049. I was also a UACC Regional Director for about 7 years for RI, MA , CT, ME, VT and NH.Let me start by saying that after speaking with Mike and looking into the purchase of that particular Harrison Ford piece I am going to remove it from my web site until further investigation can be done by myself.
Sadly, like you collectors I too have a box amassed over the years of items I am not 110% sure about. So I will NOT Pass it on to y customers. Stuff I would love to sell but if I can't be sure with all my years of collecting and I Know collectors many times have to rely on us dealers to be sure. As we have more ways of authenticating and of course seeing the signatures over all the years.
I would also like to state that I do NOT under ANY circumstances buy from just anyone. I currently only use 3 wholesale sources. One of which supplies hiugher UACC dealers than myself. This particular item did come from one of them, but through a different source. Hence my pulling it until further looking into it. Any dealer can make a mistake and something gets slipped by. What SHOULD seperate the good from the bad dealers is the one who is willing to remove and eat a loss, value his customers, and listen to the words of other well known people in the industry and make the neccessary steps it takes to correct mistakes and problems without arguement or giving customers a hard time. As some other dealers may do and get VERY defensive.
Enough on that I guess. I did not come into this forum to defend myself as I do not think I have any reason to. But out of respect for Mike Aires, and the comments and respect I have for Steve Crykin and all his work he has done. I wanted to come in here and post some sort of reply. And as well the respect of you people who have posted in here, questioned my item and have brought this to my attention.
I am glad to be a part fo this community. I RARELY get into posting on forums as I am usually busy working on my business. I would hopefully like to get to know this comunity better as many I have seen and have been a part fo in the past has always got into a "he said.. she said" type of arguments.
For you regualr collectors out there, sadly, this business behind the scenes can be like anyother back stabbing, someone trying to ruin someone else to make sales etc..etc.. WE eealers would need to hire someone else 24/7 to just sit and defend ourselves all the time. I know my sources, I trust them, I value my customers very much. IF it weren't for them I wouldn't be suppoting my family.
Ok in the immortal words of Stan Lee... "nuff said"
I do want to ad in a shamless plug (LOL) That I am currently and almost finished with my 4 th book of celebrity in person signed facsimilie book. I do have 3 volumes currently.
My apologies to Mike... LOL.. I meant to say Mike Aring. (Aires was a kid I went to school with back in High School..Early morning posts always get me)

Welcome Ed!!! 1st, thanks for doing what is right. That is exactly what this hobby needs.
2nd, This type of Harrison ford forgery has been around since the 1990's. It fooled a lot of people over time. Don't feel bad about it.
Thank you Brandon.. Appreciated. Hopefully I will be able to get in here a bit. Time permitting. Would be nice to be a part of a good community of collectors and dealers.
E.
