Yes, JG Autograph's is a great source of authentic autographs with over 20 years experience. Buy with confidence and realize they have a 100% money back guarantee without time limit.
I agree with Bobby, they stand behind what they sell just like Bobby!
Not everyone has access to celebrities. Also, writing to celebrities through the mail often results in receiving secretarial autographs. Many of us have to buy our autographs from, hopefully reliable sources. But, you and Harry are correct.... we should not do so without doing our homework.
Hey, Steve:
I've purchased from them on eBay before. The vintage Hollywood autographs they had up at the time all looked authentic. The items come with nifty little LOA's, too, which of course are worthless because JG's certs aren't big in the business, but with a picture of the item and everything. Top of the line LOA compared to other sellers who offer them. Once I got a handwritten note of authenticity with a coffee ring on it--haha.
One has to be congnizant regardless of who it is. When many were selling secretarial hestons they were selling from what I saw "authentic ones". A few of which I own.
Having said that I was not too thrilled however with the response I received on signing information; > "Our company personally obtained the autograph from Mr. Heston about 6 years ago when he was in Boston for an event. We do not have the specific signing information as we literally have had several hundred Heston autographs in our inventory over the years."
When I further questioned them on "our company" it came back (i have it around somewhere) that it appeared to be a "runner" but they could not qualify the event, nor exact date thus one ought not to buy blindly.
I do concur with others that todate they have a good reputation.
Gee if your not on this site your not doing your homework...Duh, as for in person what line do you stand in to get a HEston, Lancaster or Arnaz? Just because they are UACC means nothing but their rep means alot!
I haven't made tons of purchases from them, but I've always seen them as among the safer bets. Their reputation appears to be strong in just about every circle - if you visit the UK's ACAF forum, you'll see that JG is one of the very few (maybe the only) US dealer on their short list of recommended dealers. They were the first place I was able to purchase an authentic U2 autograph from about 10 years ago, after multiple bad purchases - even from UACC RD's.
