Heisman winner LSU quarterback Joe Burrow autograph/photo op session charging steep prices

According to the website 247sports.com, an autograph/photo op event is being sponsored by SportsCollectibles.com and Famous Ink at the Mall of Louisiana for Heisman winner LSU quarterback Joe Burrow on April 4.

A photo with Joe is $219, an autograph is $199, and if you want an inscription with the autograph, that's an additional $79.

Is common practice among celebrities? I guess SportsCollectibles.com and Famous Ink pay Joe a flat-rate or perhaps a percentage of the take.

Silly prices for a player who's proven nothing at the pro level and likely headed to a pretty awful franchise. But, yeah, sports autographs are frequently stupidly priced like this - not necessarily celebrities in general. Curious who's actually going to pay that. Die hard LSU fans with cash to burn I suppose?

you can almost get marino - aikman for that...I guess my Heisman football will never see his signature on my ball--SS doesn't want me to have it any time soon
