Help Identifying Undecipherable Signature on Leonard Coleman Era National League Ball

I've spent a couple hours (almost assuredly more time than it's worth) trying to figure out the signature on this baseball and don't have a clue.  Looks to me like the first name begins with Ch and the last with M but I've not found any player who fits that criteria who it could possible be.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks.  Bill

Could it be Chad Mottola?

Hi Steve, Thanks for looking.  I've looked at several Chad Motolla signatures and I don't think so.  All his signatures are relaxed and flowing.  This signature is stilted, especially the Ch and M.  It's almost like someone was trying to copy a signature?
