Hi

Can anyone tell me if this Cassius Clay looks like a Vintage 60's autograph? On the surface, it appears it would be based on the date, but it doesn't really look like a 1964 version of his sig? Plus not sure if that type of market was around almost 50 years ago..

It is no doubt authentic, just trying to determine if it is indeed a early 60's sig, or possibly 80's-90's?? That way I can figure if it's worth the cost. I want it for a gift for my Dad :) Thanks!!

it is definitely NOT his vintage early 60's version of his birth name.  If it is genuine, it was probably signed in the 90's.

Thanks!! That was kind of my suspicion. The seller says it was signed in 1964 and wants 2100- what do you think is fair value? Thanks!!

I really don't know but it would be closer to 300-400 I would think.

Without any documentation (provenance) it would be worth $500 at best....IMO

It does not look like 1960s but I am a bit surprised that Ali would sign as Clay in the 80s or 90s and date it like that.  Seems a bit odd to me.
