Help with value? (Sport stars like Gretzky, Pelé, Borg and 5 others)

Hi everyone! I wonder if I could ask you about a very odd item I just bought. I wasn’t planning to, but just couldn’t resist when I saw it listed for sale. This hobby is a disease… ;-)

These autographs were obtained during something that was called ”The World Sports Masters” and was held in Gothenburg, Sweden in 1982. It was a charity event and mega stars like Wayne Gretzky (the best hockey player ever), Pelé (the greatest soccer player ever) Björn Borg (one of the greatest tennis stars ever), Ingemar Stenmark (one of the best down hill stars ever), Sugar Ray Leonard (a boxing legend), Stefan Persson (icehockey, NY Islanders), Vitas Gerulaitis (tennis) and Kevin Keegan (one of Englands best soccer players) in events like a 60m race and odd games like a who’s fastest around an obstacle course while riding on a bicycle… :-)

Absolutly crazy! Imagine stars like Connor McDavid compete against Rafael Nadal, Cristiano Ronaldo and Conor McGregor in something like this today!!!

Just google ”world sports masters 1982” and you can read about it and actually see the whole event!

Now to my question, I’m planning on selling this since it isn’t something I normally collect. I just got caught in the moment and couldn’t stop myself from buying! But I’m having trouble putting a value on this one since I have nothing to compare with. Do anyone have any idea what it might be worth?

The paper is kind of rough, that’s expected since it’s more than 40 years old, but the autographs is actually really nice. For example is it a pretty nice vintage Gretzky graph and Pelé (who’s quite expensive on his own) wrote his much rarer full name.

I’m fully aware that rare doesn’t always mean expensive, but either way I think it’s a really cool and for sure rare item!

I think its a very difficult to judge Over here something similiar with just tennis stars sold for about $120. Its a nice piece

I agree, it’s a difficult one since there is nothing similar to compare with. The thing that mostly speaks for this one is the old nice Wayne Gretzky graph and the very rare full name Pele graph! That is not easy to find!

Very tough to value this piece . You are not going to find somebody who is a fan of all these sports greats!!! I would try to value them individually as a signed cut and go from there.

Personally for me, I would want the Wayne Gretzky, Pele and Sugar Ray Leonard and Kevin Keegan.( I am a Liverpool FC fan)
