I'm not trying to say that anyone is untrustworthy , but I believe the Manson check to be forged . This dealer probably doesn't know that it is most likely not authentic. Since most mainstream autograph dealers usually don't buy and sell many items from convicted criminals , their knowledge and experience  of these things might not be as well tuned as that of people who specialize in such eccentric areas. I am no expert but I have dealt with Manson through mail correspondence and I know several people who have met with him personally. All of these people believe the Monopoly Money checks to be fake. I trust their opinions.

Again , I don't mean to step on anyone's toes , I just know what I know  and what I have heard from others who have been in the criminal autograph game for many years. Also , I am no expert on Manson's signature but I can show the check to someone who can tell you for sure.

I ran it by  a few people. The Manson signature is not authentic in the opinions of many.

Do they? Most of the folks I see giving opinions here use their real names. If I was looking to buy something and experts or others say it was bad I'd say who they were. Why is it such a big secret?
