Has anyone heard of AutographsAmerica.com? They have this Horst Jankowski signed L.P. for sale. I would like to get one, or one similar, to hang in my Wife's new sewing room.

I have always enjoyed the subtleties of technique displayed by Mr. Jankowski. His rendition of "Music to Watch Girls By", I have always felt to be a highlight of 20th Century music.

Does this look authentic?

Many people know the story of Bob Dylan turning the Beatles on in a New York City hotel room in 1964. Most folks don't realize that that Jorst turned Bob Dylan on to the whole ball of wax the night of Jankowski's legendary gig at the Kettle of Fish in the village in 1962.  I have heard there are photos of Jankowski signing a guitar backstage that night so I would wait until that piece surfaces.

Here's a message from Autographs America owner Brian Burkel to a young lady named Christie Carroll, then a real estate agent with apparently a job on the side working for Brian. Any idea what Brian might have been asking Christie to do?

Christie,

Hello!

I need you to pick out guitars in the garage for the following bands (not bass guitars)

Metallica (with Robert Trujillo, NOT Newstead, or Burton) songs, pics, etc.
AC/DC (2 guitars) Bon Scott and Brian Johnson
Rolling Stones (like the gold one) Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Bill Wyman, Ronnie Woods, and Charlie Watts
INXS
U2

Also, I need you to go to Office Depot and buy a Sony Cybershot Camera like the one we have here about 8 Megapixels, and get a 1GB card for it. We have these guitars sold for around $3,000 but if you can't take a picture of them, we can't sell them. IF you have a good one at home you can bring GREAT but if not we need to buy one.

Try to pick the guitars that best fit the bands, and use colors that show up with the camera, like WHITE

Brian
Moderation is for wimps.
Now that's a good wife.
