How can PSA deem a squiggly line as an authentic autograph?

Aside from an "In the Presence of" COA, there is no way to authenticate that

If you look up the pictured cert it references Andrew Lincoln, is that who they are claiming signed this Hugh Jackman. Additionally, I don't see a PSA Sticker on the 8x10 photo that is scanned with the cert. This looks like someone pictured the photo with a PSA Cert, and is trying to pull a fast one.

Of you spend 30 seconds verifying the pictured cert, you'd realize it doesn't even match the pictured item!! Also there is a reason the seller has 95.5% feedback, I get that PSA/DNA makes errors, but at least try to verify that thy actually certed this.

He's posting photos of certa that don't match the items, posting a different cert number in the listing, who knows what you are gonna get in the mail. This guys obviously posting shady products and it shows in his selling history, steer clear and it should be pulled.

It's probably not a coincidence that he's covering up the bottom right corner of the photo where the sticker is usually placed.

This one has a sticker, and it's still stupid that they authenticate something you can't possibly authenticate.

We've actually discussed this on the forum a few times. PSA and JSA authenticate more than their share of items they shouldn't, apparently based on their trust of the collector/dealer, not to mention the steady stream of cash they're handed to wave their wand and make it "real."

Thanks Rich, joined to become more knowledgeable and always have had concerns about 3rd party COAs that authenticate, often times, just a squiggly line (the Jackman, Al Pacino, Val Kilmer, etc..). Almost anyone could duplicate these "signatures". Appreciate the information.
