How Good is the authentication of a COA. From a Registered UACC Member?

I saw an autographed photo for a fairly decent $ - but as a novice I. was wondering what is the trust level on this kind of authentication? Zilch? Knowledgable Opinions Appreciated because I dont know what to think or what kind of trust level this embues to other collectors regarding authenticity!

Unless you're talking about a UACC Registered Dealer (and even some of those are fairly awful), being a UACC member only requires yearly dues. So a COA from a member, unless we're talking about a known dealer/collector, is worthless.

Thank!I didnt know!

If you have an autograph your thinking about buying and not sure of the authenticity, I would send it in here, put the artist or celebrity in the title and get opinions on our forum.

No matter who wrote the COA  - even the best/honest dealers out there can pick up some bad items from time to time.

Good sound advice Wascher and as Rich said only a yearly subscription required to be a member.

Thanks for the reply! =)
Thanks for the reply! =)

Recently purchased an Elvis Presley autograph with a COA.  Can anyone give me any idea who would be best to authenticate this item.   I am very sceptical of it being the real deal.  As I live in the UK do not know where to turn to get help.  Thank you

Upload a pic of it here and the members will help you out!
