HOW IN THE WORLD DID PSA AUTHENTICATE THIS? THIS MAKES ME QUESTION THEIR JUDGEMENT! BIG TIME!

While I know many hear think PSA and JSA are good for the hobby and for the most part I agree.  I just don't think anyone should certify ANYTHING like this.  There is no way in hell they can say with any amount of certainty that Pacino signed this.

Maybe they authenticated it because the person that sent it in was a known, legitimate dealer? Just throwing out ideas haha.

must have been in Character at that moment as Lt Cnl Frank Slade hoooah

I wouldn't touch that garbage. Even if authentic, which I doubt, it would be to hard to sell it.

PSA is horrible with Pacino........but they got paid.

Posted this before but I still laugh about it. A PSA authenticated Pacino for a heavy volume customer. No chance PSA authenticates this if I sent it in.

This is impossible to read.  Looks like something Al would do.

This one actually looks pretty typical to me.

All that does is hurt the company name.

I agree with you 100 percent on this Charles. I am a general supporter of PSA and JSA b/c they do a far better job than any other multi genre authenticator out their in my opinion. And they have helped clean the hobby. But as Rich and you pointed out Charles, this just hurts their name.

This is just crazy in my eyes to allow this to happen. You cant authenticate things like this, period. I mean i know the guy gives out signatures like this and even worse, but give me a break. Any of us can produce 1000s of these at home in a few days and look just as good.

I suspect that often times PSA simply slaps a sticker on autos like this b/c of the seller or sellers reputation. That shouldnt happen, but i know it does from time to time. It just hurts their name and the hobby. If you get an auto like this in person then you know its good, but these are just to easily faked, and their isnt enough to authenticate. I do think that their are a few celebs who only sign initials that can be authenticated because of the odd letter formation that makes forgery more difficult. But for the most part sigs like this dont deserve to be authenticated unless they witness the signing.

This is disappointing, its just way to easy to forge.

Another garbage photo that PSA authenticated.  I know the Depp is good because I've seen enough of his forgeries to spot a good one in a second, but once again we have this trash Pacino autograph.  Sigh

That Pacino may actually be good. Just very hard to see how it could be authenticated with any certainty.

Its a well known fact that friends and those who are "in" with PSA authenticators can just give them a stack of signed stuff and the authenticator goes through it stickering each and every one without any scrutiny of the actual autographs authenticity. They just trust those people so anything they give them is pretty much an automatic pass.  I'm sure all these Pacino's were from a friend or acquaintance of a PSA authenticator and it was authenticated in the aforementioned way, especially since PSA supposedly doesn't authenticate Pacino anymore.

What do you mean PSA doesn't authenticate Pacino anymore?  That isn't true at all.  They absolutely authenticate him and he is still listed on their website
