I sold a gorgeous $10k dollar [Tom Petty] signed LP for $50 because of the "opinion" of folks here.

I said what I wanted to say. Thank you!

"...Beckett certified the album, it turned out to be 100% legit. You guys evidently don't know what the heck you are talking about. You should seriously consider NOT giving your opinions in the future. You are doing more harm than good..." - from Rusty's original post. Why did you edit out your original post and alter the (now restored) title?

So Derek, the question is asked again. Who do you consider an expert? I and others here have changed PSA's opinion, me with Gleason - what more do you expect from hardcore collectors?  Can you define "expert"? I know a lot about Gleason but become wary when an entity claims to be able to authenticate anything.

Apparently not.

You should use other people's opinion as a guide and do your own research. People will give opinions even when they are not familiar with an autograph. That's the nature of forums.

Rusty lists himself as an Intermediate Collector so this is a one strange to me. It's a 2 year old thread.
