If you could only keep ONE of your autographed possessions

Somewhat new to these forums and I have been back reading years of talk & conversations in here and I am hooked. So I'm posting the picture of my favorite autograph and asking fellow members here.... (and sorry if this discussion has been talked about) haha

If you could only keep one autographed item you own, what would it be? I've (deeply) regretted parting with some, some of them I can part ways without any issue. But what's the one you'd never let go?

I got my Mickey Mantle ball from my Dad in 1987~
My dad had a friend, that was a dear friend of Mickey's & one day he came home with a full box of signed balls. I'm not sure exactly who they were all signed to, but it was a full box. I guess 12? My two brothers also got one, and I do recall two neighborhood friends getting one each also. That was my first introduction to Mickey Mantle's signature....

so much to choose from, but I'd probably have to go with this, as it's the oerfect marriage of my love for autographs and my love for collecting cards!

Fun topic! Great to see other members fantastic sigs!

It would have to be this one: http://live.autographmagazine.com/photo/bruce-springsteen-vintage-s...

Love Springsteen, love the album, love the autograph, love the inscription :-)

Probably this JK Rowling 5x7 from 2001. From my research, you pretty much had to be very young and ill to have received one directly from her. It is one of the few undisputed JKR signed photos I know of.

That's a beautiful photograph you have! DIG IT!
Oh, I want a Paul BAD. IF I ever got The Beatles or A Beatle... I'd never part ways either.

It will have to be this one for me right now. It took me 5 years to get this from the previous owner who had it for more than 20 years.

That's a killer music quote by Grohl! Beautiful All Around.

Kurt Cobain "Hell-o" is from Smell Like Teen Spirit chorus. :)

Truly awesome piece there J.

I suppose if I had to choose one it would be this, as it was signed by both Paul McCartney and his then girlfiend (and muse) Jane Asher on the inside of the programme. Signed in January 1968 at the London's Talk Of The Town. This is my favorite time period of The Beatles as it was only a few week till they went to Rishikesh and studied with Maharishi while writing songs for The White Album.

I have since been collecting autographs of those who also went to India in 1968. I have Paul, Ringo, Jane Asher, Pattie Boyd, Jenny Boyd, Mike Love, Donovan, Mia Farrow, Prudence Farrow, and just purchased a Paul Horn. Not period signatures from those guys, but still fun collecting!

There was a store in Dallas, approx 15 years ago that had a complete Beatles signed piece (with girlfriends) from the Maharishi visit. I think he was asking $6500 then, framed wonderfully. He asked if I wanted lay away on it & I wish I had purchased it. Though at the time my finances weren't in order! SHOULDVE COULDVE WOULDVE!

A very easy decision...
