Perhaps an unpopular opinion (and I understand the purpose is to drive revenue and album sales) but I hate signed inserts. Sign the record cover. Being forced to purchase antiquated CDs or obsolete vinyl just to get a small card is sad. I’d be more inclined to purchase an album if it were hard signed. Just my opinion.

I think many people including myself agree, I only really buy signed inserts if their autographs are tough to find or to get an affordable one in a pinch, I usually if not always just use them as placeholders until I get a bigger piece signed by them like a vinyl or poster to then end up selling the insert afterwards but having a signed vinyl cover or cd booklet would definitely be better than a small insert, i think everyone can agree on that.

If I'm not mistaken they just do that to cut costs on shipping which I think they should price them up a little bit to make up for that but I understand they want to make them affordable for any fan to get and shipping vinyl covers to the signers would add up quick rather than inserts, but that's on them.
