I have taken some time out from reading a lot of replies and opinions on here, and for the better part, seem fair, the only ones who wont see it fair, are those who don't want an honest opinion back. I take it, that why this is a Forum on here, lol. But you have to see the funny side of it, like one guy on here said, buy cheep off eBay, and what do you expect. to be honest and don't want to insult anyone on here, for this is not my wish, even though I am a crazy mad Scotsman, lol. I would never buy an autograph from anyone, my red bulb would flash on my old head when someone does want to sell. The only one I had a double with was the Beatles on a ten shilling note, and the other on a wage slip. yes you guessed, ha, ha. I am a Scotsman right enough, I kept the ones which were on a ten shilling note. and sold the other ones on the wage slip. My father got the two on the same night. the other was his mate who was on the back door with him, this your gonna like, his mate didn't like the Beatles, and liked the other band on the same night. My dad said it was hectic that night, there was Hassel, even though it had the three dressing rooms and the Beatles one was filled to the gunnels, he felt sorry for the other acts, as everyone was wanting the Beatles not Houston Wells, and I think he said, the fortunes. There were girls in there getting photographs with them for the Fife Local Rag, my dad thought he had cocked it up as he had promised my mother their autographs. and then when he thought there was going to be none and ended up with two. He joked with John I think he said after the ten shilling note was signed, Christ he said, and us on £42.00 quid a gig. ha, ha. And nearly kept the ten bob note you would have thought they would have looked after that hall the Beatles played in and put a plaque up or something, so what happened to the hall, the prats at Kirkcaldy Fife, burnt it down. There was one thing he really complained about more than anything, he said that he had just bought a new suit out of Burtons or something, as his Boss said to look smart in case the news paper saw his boys looking rough, that was a joke he said, besides, being half deaf with the screaming and trying to lip read, lol. The amount of sick and slobber down his new suit  was unreal, and a tear to his top pocket which his boss didn’t cover damages or cleaning bill. He tried to explain this to my mother about the scratches to his face and lipstick, she eventually believed him. Lol. She got the ten bob note, folded in such a way, that it fitted inside her bracelet truncate he bought her. That’s why I nearly ended up with only three signatures on the note when I ironed it flat out again, left steam on, ouch. But, I have it now, along with many stories from the past, I might never have had a father after he ended up working the place called the Barrowland  Glasgow, he told me that working that place, nearly made him give this part time work completely. Some of the biggest heavy mobs used to go there. He wouldn’t talk about that part, yet he talked about being a prisoner of war. I think I get that,!  I got autographs later on of groups and bands like, STIFF LITTLE FINGERS,--STONES—CLIFF RITCHARD AND THE SHADOWS. HERMANS HERMETS. DAVECLARK FIVE and all that stuff. I might never have been there, but I was through his eyes. If anyone has autographs out there belonging to your grandparents or parents, might want to keep them, or show them. As those dealers out there, seam to use them as currency rather than what they are really for. Having said this, I will lay odds on that my sons will end up selling them. Right now, I am having my head nipped by the wife to finish decorating while I am holiday, would love to hear some peoples interesting instances getting autographs.

All the best to everyone on here.
