Ironing wrinkled signed sharpie photo ?

Hello friends , wanted some tips on getting rid of a bad crease in a blue sharpie signed photo. If I place the photo between cardboard and lay a pillow case on top then iron down the photo on lowest setting will the blue sharpie ink fade away due to the heat and cause damage or not ?
