I'm sure they are not affiliated with them and the name is only used as recognition and to fool some into thinking they are legitimate. But, there is a large sports and celebrity auction going on at a large health club, Mountainside Fitness, in the Phoenix area. They have a bunch of signed items with sig up sheets to bid, minimum amounts listed. All items have extravagant framing as seen with many forgeries. The only real items are marked with Stacks of Plaques holograms. All the rest are fake (Ali, Mick Jagger, etc.) These all have the generic holograms with a serial number (as we know, this is supposed to be impressive). Anybody come across these people in person? I'm considering calling their general manager regarding this. About 15 years ago, I busted a group that was selling a ton of high end memorabilia through AMC Theaters. They refused to believe me and I ended up calling the newspapers and having them do a story. The AMC gang ended up being a part of Operation Bullpen.  I may have to make another phone call.
