So I got this from a guy who used to go to a lot of Nirvana shows and he told me he got it signed backstage right before Kurt went out on stage.

I'm just curious about other opinion's after PSA told me that they were not sure due to him changing up his signature style every so often.

I hope you didn't pay much for this.

Thats not Kurt signed

It doesn't look like a genuine Kurt signature but I'd like to see the whole page which was signed. And it doesn't feel right. Signing something "...right before Kurt went out on stage" just rings of more bullsh*t because if that was so, that's a remarkably calm signature rather than something scribbled before walking out to do a show.

I feel like a broken record saying this, but Kurt's stuff is heavily forged and its very hard to tell the good from the bad since he had such a simple signature.

People will make up all kinds of nonsense to sell autographs. How do you know this guy "went to the shows?"

If you really really want something good from Kurt, the best bet is to get a full band signed. Its easy to forge Kurt, not always easy to forged them all. Also do your homework on the good examples of the full band stuff. There also needs to be very good iron clad proof.

They don't come along often, but when they do, people expect like $5000+ for them, so get ready to pay.

I'll keep that in mind! And I'll definitely get opinions from this group before purchasing!!!

Hi Bruce

I read your profile and seems you love K Cobain

After seeing these answers, what do you think now?

I feel like it would have been nice to know about this group before I had purchased this originally! But live and learn I guess...

I'll keep that in mind! It's still a goal of mine to get an authentic Kurt signature!!!!

Yes maybe one day

But forgeries are getting more abundant because of the value

And because it's such a simple autograph, many are getting fooled. Even professional authenticators are steering clear of putting their name on a certificate.

In time hopefully you'll find one
