Is This Charming Message/Drawing/signature from Christopher Reeve in 1981-ish Authentic?

My lovely sister was a waitress in LA back in the day, and mailed me this amazing letter from everyone's hero of the day, Christopher Reeve.

Always wondered if it was real, or just some sly pooch trying to pull a fast one...

While most off his autographs I've seen in a quick search seems to be signed as Christopher, I was able to find a more intimate message he (supposedly) wrote and there were several similarities to be seen!

Anyhow, I've always been curious.
