Hello everybody. This is my first post here. I collect Presidential and history signatures.
Can you guys take a look at this Richard Nixon and tell me if it is genuine? Its black sharpie on the inside of a book. The book is old but the binding is very tight, as thought it has never been 'cracked' open. This leads me to believe that it is not autopen. I also have not seen an autopen example of "Dick".
Again, thank you so much in advance and I look forward to many conversations on here.

I would say unlikely. it looks nothing like the D he uses for Dick, in fact, it is an R.
I agree. My only thought is perhaps he had the intention to sign it "Dick" but made the "R" in Richard out of habit. I don't know. I think its 50/50. I'm debating on returning the item or sending to PSA.
