Is this Sammy Hagar and Chris Rea Real???

Hello everyone,

Im hoping some of the members out their may be able to help me out with their opinion on 2 autographs that i have wondered about for a while. The first is a signed CD brochure from Chris Rea. I purchased this item from a UACC dealer and has an AFTAL hologram on it. It was one of my early autograph purchases and i acquired it through the link you get at Autographworld that leads you to several UACC sellers and their items. I bought up probably around a dozen items from them throughout the course of a year and sadly about half turned out to be no good, or fail PSA. I see some positive features in the Chris Rea when compared to authenticated ones. But their are also some noticeable differences. I just have not been able to make an opinion one way or the other. I would love any opinions.

And the second autograph is an 8 by 10 of Sammy Hagar. I acquired this through a trade with another member on StarTiger. I have seen several autographs on this type of photo from different members at StarTiger, which made me wonder if they werent a promotion from him at some time or another. In any event this was another purchase i made when new to collecting without much research. However, the more i look at PSA authenticated Hagars, the more differences i see, and i honestly have my doubts. But as always i am hoping. Any opinions will be highly valued. I'm pretty sure that Chris Rea is not genuine. The whole autograph is off. I really don't like the way the R is on this one.

Here is a Sammy Hagar from a limited edition litho I got from his website years ago. Maybe someone here can compare it to yours and comment. I'm not an expert.

Carl, are you going to reveal the seller / s ?

But before you do Im going to state right from the offset, I have not said they are genuine or fake.

I have only offered to supply you with a scan of a in person Chris Rea signature

Just to prepare myself of any hassle I may receive in the event of these signatures being confirmed fake, to which im not stating any opinion

Hi Carl

if this was bought from A UACC Registered Dealer and u can provie it not right you will get your money refunded, or you can complain to the UACC board and they will help.

Why just let it go ? If they are fake and I repeat Im not saying they are..... then you should be entitled to a refund

Contact the sellers and ask for their returns policy

I am going to go through my COA book this evening. I m pretty sure i have kept every transaction record of every autograph purchase ive made, save only a few. The Rea definetly came from a UACC dealer. It had just been so long ago though that i was just committed to let it go. But now that you said something i think i will contact them.
