Is this Sting real?

I've seen a few of these pop up on ebay lately- this supposedly came from the Ralph Sall collection, a record exec,which means nothng to me anymore.

Does it look good? Sting has changed the sig up a bit- he signed something at the Grammy's with this style, just want to know if it looks good.

I would say YES. One good way to compare real Sting signatures is to look on Ebay for Sting signed books. Then you can compare. But I believe it is.

I've seen three or four now, just wondering where they are all coming from...did he sign a few for an occasion or did all these people show up with the same program? Thanks for the opinions...

Thats a real nice signature. Got him twice in person and its usually just an ST line, so maybe this was an organized signing?.

One way to help understand the authenticity of a piece is to look at the seller's other items. In this case, I think the other items look good - especially if you don't mind personal inscriptions, which I feel can help with the authenticity. You get more writing and a better sample of the signer that you can compare to other examples. The one thing that I don't like about some of this seller's items has nothing to do with authenticity, but the framing. I have seen many items destroyed when the item is not separated from the glass by a mat. If you put an item in a humid environment when it is directly on the glass or plexiglass, like this one seems to be, it can stick, making it impossible to take it out of the frame without damage. All the UV protected museum quality framing in the world isn't going to help with that.

All great points. My prayer is this in paint pen, so shouldn't smear/smudge when I pull it out.

I'm on the fence....I love Sting but could put that money towards a better piece.
