This is one I got personally myself which I throw in every so often as I do trades and this Van Halen was signed in Dallas and I had them sign it ,myself so you are wrong on that one

That is not a very productive way to make friends here Hugh.  Regarding the piece, I find it interesting that Alex circled the dot.  I have never seen that before.

Please don't try "testing" the forum like that.  All you'll do is create instant animosity.

I'm sorry, this is just getting to be over the top.  You are posting up a storm, and in many case re-posting the same questions again and again.  That's borderline trolling.  I'm guessing that you're trying to evaluate a whole collection, but you can't just sabotage an entire forum to do that.

then please explain to the community why you asked for an opinion on an item you received in person.  really, does that make any sense?  how else are we to take it?  You are testing us.

I did not realize I had gotten that one signed myself until after it was deemed no good by someone and I looked at my catalog and realized where it was signed and when , once again , I apologize to you , at the very least the forum is getting to look at unique and what looks like in most cases , real examples , you can never have to many examples from what I have been reading the last few days here . Please accept my apologies and please stop jumping to conclusions and making assumptions on what my agenda is ,

I'm not buying any of that. How do you "forget" that you got this signed yourself, especially when it's signed by all of the members of one of the most successful bands ever. To get this item signed/completed would take time and dedication. One does not simply "forget" that they were able to get Eddie/Alex Van Halen, or Sammy Hagar to sign an album. I know Id be absolutely freaking out when meeting just one of them, yet alone the whole band.

I can't speak on the signatures, but I'm not buying the story. You are testing us, and trying to discredit everyone's opinion on multiple threads and it's getting pretty darn annoying.

Nick , I' ve met them and partied with them numerous times . My best friend was there A & R guy and I would be backstage all the time . I am sorry you are not buying it but I am selling this piece if you are interested in buying it,as are all my pieces,next thing you will want to see is backstage proof, I am sorry that you did not like my answer,it is what it is. I don't understand all the hostility .

I would get picked up once a month with a Roger McGuinn ,a Robbie Robertson , a Lita Ford and a million has-beens or nobodies in the back seat of a sedan when they would come to town to do press or radio, my buddy used to joke that he didn't make a 100k a year but he ate at the best restaurants in any particular city 3 nights a week drinking 200 dollar bottles of wine while running up 1500 dollar bills for 3 people,. That is why the record business is dead or one of them .... I ve been lucky    I played pool with Pink Floyd , swam in a four Seasons pool with Mick Jagger and his kids,been to private parties with U2 when you could literally sit and talk to Larry for half an hour.It ain't that big of deal to me, I've collected stuff for 30 years and now it is time to let it go,I am keeping a few choice pieces but am actually into Fine Art as I get older . All of the autographs appear to have been achieved at the same time based on the ink drying out by the time Eddie signed the item.  What I find to be most interesting is that all four band members apparently signed it in sequential order from left to right and top to bottom.

I am going to post the EVH ( @ bank vault. Will take a few days ) that I got from the same day with the same pen . Mike ...what is so interesting and what is your point bottom line.
