The last 3 or 4 checks that sold within the past year or so were all $5,000.- and up including BP. If i saw a JM check for around 3k, i'd buy it in a flash. Yes that's what will happen more than likely.
A cheque is worth 5k, but I wouldn't buy one and then pay BP on it.
Should Bp be part of the sellers cost if you won a morrison at auction, that's if you decided to resell and you would have to ask 6k or more.
My 2nd Morrison check i won in the Profiles in History auction hammered at $4,200.- + the BP which came to $5,200.-
