I know a lot more about JFK signatures. However, this appears to be a flat out forgery.

Yeah, this isn't real. I am sorry. You can tell they tried to draw the autograph very slowly and it leaves a lot of shaky parts to it, even though the forger took their time, they still got things wrong.
Its a shame you couldn't use it to raise some money.

We get quite a bit of Kennedy material sent to us, because I head up the effort to bring the retired aircraft carrier John F Kennedy to Rhode Island and open it as a public attraction--like the Midway in San Diego, or the Intrepid in NYC.
I have a few more items to run by you; should i just add to this thread, or open a new post?

OK I will post 3 more for you now, one at a time. This Senate press I'm pretty confident about; it cam from a family of 4, each of whom had a pass in their own name. The secretary filled out the top part and Senator Kennedy signed each pass in front of them.

Example 1)
I believe this is real. What's interesting about it is it is far neater than most Kennedy signatures. Even by 1955, they were usually far more rushed and sloppy. So some might dismiss it as something a secretary did or a stamp, but it doesn't match any secretary signatures but it does match signatures he did when he took his time. Nice!
Example 2: I am torn on this one. The thing with "in person" signatures such as this and that they varied quite frequently, and if there is nothing else to go on (such as a date on a letter) they can be easy to forge. It does have some real characteristics, but there are also things I don't really like about it: An example being the "y" not being formed like his. With the amount of forgeries out there, I would personally steer clear of this one. Fake until proven real, and for me, there just isn't enough.
Example 3: The Jackie Kennedy signature is real IMO. Its nice.

I agree with James Stone on all counts. And I don’t like Example 2 at all. I think it’s just a forgery attempt.
