Love these pictures ! Always been a big Cagney fan. An old family friend met Cagney once and had this signed. I have never had it looked at but would love to get opinions here. I'm no Cagney expert, but it looks good to me...

I would lean towards good
I would assume it's a later in life signature as Gregory's is a beautiful early example.

No, I don’t. I assume it was later in life. Unfortunately, the family friend has passed on as well. As you can see, the photo had been folded at one time. I know that our friend worked on set for some films. Perhaps he brought it along with him in his pocket waiting for an opportunity. I will continue to investigate but I have a feeling it might have been on “Ragtime”. I would welcome any other opinions as well...thanks
