Hi Guys

Bought this lovely guitar plate signed by Jeff Lynne. It has a dedication to the previous owner I want to remove though.
Anyone know how to do this without damaging the autograph. Any help would be appreciated

Also. Where would I go about getting it authenticated please

Can anyone help guys?

There is a chance, depending on the surface of the pick guard, that a soft eraser like a Pentel clik eraser, may be able to remove the inscription.

The fact that the guard is white and possibly not a high gloss finish, that a shadow of the inscription may be left behind depending on if the sharpie soaked into the plastic.

I would suggest testing a small area, that wont be too noticeable.

Roger Epperson would probably be the best to certify it , if you choose to have that authentication done.

Thanks for your reply Pete. I'll give that a go. Are there any ELO experts on here that may be a able to give me an opinion before I ask Roger? Thanks again. Mark

By no means am I an expert, but these are mine.

They look awesome Pete!

I would also tend to say it´s an authentic sig...but a bit atypical and therefore not very pretty.

I think Petes are neater. Hopefully mine is right as well though

Here's  mine ip

Some nice ones here guys. Guess mine looks a little different because of the surface it's signed on

Here is mine for comparison.

Nice J.
