I hate to be the one to break the news but the jerry lee lewis signed books are all fakes 100 percent. He flew into jfk airport and his wife told people that she does most of his signing for him and in fact that she even signed the books. that came right from her mouth. so you could believe what ever you want but I know what I heard and I got him in person at his nyc hotel 4 yrs ago and his autograph is a lot different.

Hmmm....Wonder if Jimmy Page will have his assistant do the work at his "book stamping" at the same Barnes & Noble tomorrow night.

I ´am doing the same. I bought 3  (not yet paid) on eBay, going to have the orders cancelled.

Now we know why JLL and Judith were so upset and defensive. We obvioulsy hit a nerve, and the truth hurts. All any of us had to do was like Roger said, compare for ourselves. The facts don't lie. I am very disappointed not only that JLL and his team, would pull this, but see absolutely nothing wrong with it. I am very disapointed in him.

My book is due any day, Ive already contacted my ebay seller and they will take it back but they think its still signed by him so will probably resell. I feel sorry for people that are uninformed and will get stuck with these. I intend to contact Barnes and Noble to complain also. This kind of stuff makes me see red.

I had the same fortune regarding cancellation of the purchase.

Seller didn´t comment anything about the authenticity but would gladly cancel the order.

So who do you believe actually signed the books, his wife or Whitten?

there is no question that Whitten signed them

To Calvin Spiker--Are you saying you were at the airport and spoke with Judith when the plane landed? How did the conversation get around to her saying she signed the books herself? Thanks

Three days ago, photo with Mead Chasky but NO Autographs..

Here’s something that I find interesting, and I’m just making an observation here. Recall from the TTM discussion that JLL uses two different styles of “E.” One appears more like a typical “e”, while the other appears more like an upside down “V”. Each style of “E” doesn’t always appear at the same position within each signature.

I’m seeing what appears to be a similar situation with the “Lee” in couple of the book signatures…

Look at the "L"s in "Lee." Would you think that those were written in the same hand?
