I think the distinct differences between the two speak for themselves. In my opinion, it does not appear that these two signatures were made by the same hand. Anyone else?
I agree. This one is the most obvious IMO. The L in Lewis looks mighty strange. I forget, how was this one obtained again?
Both through the mail -

I feel like we're moving backwards instead of forwards. "Sincerely" is definitely in the hand of JLL.
Totally disagree with you. I am with Roger - it looks like a woman's signature. Way to neat and structured and nothing like the Sincerely on the 1st album that I also got. Look at where the dot in the "i" is on both. Totally different position among other things.

I would never use the word 'definitely' if you didnt witness the signing yourself. But since you did, cant you see the differences in the word 'Sincerely'? They look nothing alike to me. Look at the 'ly'. Totally different. And one word is boldly underlined, the other is not. I see no no match whatsoever. But again, I am no expert. Just using the naked eye here.
Mark R., Does the signature on the "By Request" LP look more like a woman's signature than the one on the debut LP?
Yes sir it does.
I don't know the LP names, but the one written in purple is a woman's handwriting IMO, and is very much different then the black example above it. "Sincerely" is very different, and once again in the black version of "Sincerely" I get an "old man" vibe from it... The purple "signed" album does not give this vibe at all, it looks like a flamboyant woman's handwriting...
The pen went off the top of the sleeve. The "L" wasn't signed in a single motion.
