I would want more info regarding this item, but if that's good enough for you then congrats. May I ask how much you paid for it?

A wise decision would be to gather as many opinions on a Jim, graph before buying!
By the consensus so far, it's not looking great.
Jim morrison autograph, has started to come out in droves because there fetching big bucks, everyone cant be authentic. We really need to scrutinize everyone carefully.

I have the utmost respect for Roger, but I disagree with him on this one. In my opinion there are two glaring issues with this item. The first, like I stated at the beginning of this thread is the way in which the James is written. Whether JDM is signing his own name written as James or happens to sign for another person who also happens to be named James, as in this case, one would think he would still write "James" in the same way. With that being said, whenever I've seen JDM write James, the "ames" portion is always written in one continuous stroke with no separations. In the item in question, there is a separation between the M and the E. Why was that done this time only? The second issue is the second O in "JMorrison" which doesn't look correct tom me. These two problems alone would be in themselves enough for me to stay away from this item and opt to spend my money on a different one that I'm 100% sure of...

Here is a close-up of the M and E in James written separately. On another note, the first O in JMorrison also doesn't look correct to me either along with the second O...That's three distinct negatives.

that looks conected to me mabey a bit farther away then most other sigs he did but ive seen sigs by jim that dont look like his at al and still authentic ,like the one i own i never seen an m like in my sig never he always signed it diferent than this ,can u explane this? the second m is what i mean ,so are u saying this autographis fake to? i am not saying all of you are wrong but i think i might be right on this one .

Yes, certain letters in themselves will be sometimes formed uncharacteristically from the way they are usually done, just as the M is formed in your authentic sig. I have a problem with the "structuring" of the "James". The M and the E are clearly not connected and that is a major mistake, as I've never seen JDM "structure" it that way. Anyways, in my opinion this is a forgery and will just disagree with you and R.E.

Bart, I found the original eBay listing for this item and the price is shockingly low. The seller also has Elvis and Prince "autographs" for sale at similarly unrealistic prices.

so u think this person has managed to sel over 400 signature the last years and not one person complaned? i know the price was very low but ive seen people get lucky and did great deals on ebay from time to time ,there is a big chanse you are right Mark but i was willing to take the risk for this one just my opinion and roger seems to share it with me so i think i stand a chanse , but also roger can be wrong ?

Has anyone had a chance to look at this sellers other autographs?
Lets think this through.
Does the paper, taste like tea?
