I believe that's partially true. Apparently it did come from a large collection that included some truly amazing items. Unfortunately, this isn't one of them.

This has been around for a while. I don't like anything about it, including the writing, the signature and the content.

I agree, the item in question is ugly. They will have a hard time fooling anyone out of twenty grand with this attempt.
The Paris Journal on the other hand is a beauty.
