I had seen it before and the signature looks very good to me. I'm not sure why it was signed vertically and on that page. The few others I've seen are signed on the title page, except for one that is signed "Jim."

A nicer one sold through RR Auction in 2013 for $6,850. Has the value nearly doubled in the last 3-1/2 years?

i dont think so i also think about 7000 dollars is a good price for one.
