Hello, can I have peoples thoughts on this please?

Since we've been discussing Ms. Fontaine's signature, I thought I would quickly trot this out as it may bring a smile. As part of a promotion of her latest film back in 1951, there was a nationwide publicity blitz in which she supposedly chose "Campus Romeos" at colleges and universities nationwide. Here's one from a college in the St. Louis area. She supposedly chose these young men as Romeos because of their attributes as "Most Kissable", "Most Marriageable", "Most Athletic", etc..
A more innocent time!
That's fascinating Eddy, thanks for sharing! Originally Lindenwood was strictly a college for women. It wasn't until the late 1960's that they became co-ed and changed their name from Lindenwood College For Women to just Lindenwood College, so those "romeos" in the contest were not Lindenwood students. I did some research back in the early tens and many of the university's real estate holdings were still in the name of Lindenwood College For Women.
As for Ms. Fontaine's signature, I think that hand-written note, while not a perfect match, still shares a lot of characteristics with Minnie's example and my TTMs. To my eyes, they look penned by the same hand. While highly skilled secretarial forgers do exist, fortunately for us they are a rare breed.
Thanks Meggs
Haha I love this!
