I wouldn't buy it in my opinion; there are plenty of better examples out there.  It could be real, but I don't like the "J" or most of the last name.

I'm really considering getting a quick opinion on it, I want it haha.

I actually think it is good. This is the same way he signed my home plate in 1995.

It could be good like I mentioned, and probably is, but I just mentioned that I personally wouldn't buy it since there are far better examples with his more classic signature out there.

Authentic IMO

Thanks a lot guys! I got it for $100, pretty decent deal for what I've seen them go for and I love the cover.

Still gonna wait on the PSA quick opinion and depending on what it is and what others say I may back out.

I don't understand why you didn't do the QO before telling the seller that you'd buy it. I mean, it's your prerogative to do what you want, but what if they had someone else who would have offered more, but they pulled it from the market due to your agreeing to purchase it? Personally, I wouldn't have bought it even for $100. A PSA LOA one in much better shape sold for $195 or so in a GoldinAuction. Given the cost of authentication, it doesn't seem as great of a deal.

Not sure why, but you always seem to s*** on whatever I do/get.

Here are other Life magazines signed by DiMaggio:

Speaking of Goldin Auctions, here's one that sold in the latest auction for $1131:

I usually see them go for $200 minimum unauthenticated to about $350. I think I got a good deal.

Here's the one I was referring to anyway:

The magazine that sold for $1131 was, I believe from 1939, and not the same magazine that you are saying you purchased/might not purchase.

I don't think there's that much of a difference. The other one might hold a slight premium as its a bit older. The one I showed obviously got an absurd price but all nearly all Life magazines signed by Joe I see going for $200-$350.
