Any thoughts on these two?

At first I thought no way, but looking again I think the John is ok, and I think the George might just be a hurried one, which is why its a bit messy.

Attached are pics of both autographs up the right way.

Thanks in advance

I agree with your opinion, the John looks fine to me, rushed but genuine. The George I would give the benefit of the doubt seeing that it is on a piece with a IMO genuine John. On the other hand if I saw the George on it's own I would have been cautious.

Overall though, unless I could get a Frank Caiazzo COA or the owners are giving it away I probably wouldn't bother purchasing as there are much better examples out there.

the lennon looks good. I dont see any way this Harrison can be authenticated.

After more thought, I'm OK with the George signature. Although it's rushed and poorly formed the 'flow' and shape of the letters clearly written looks correct to me. I still wouldn't buy without a Tracks, Caiazzo, Epperson COA though as any subsequent purchasers are likely to have the same doubts you had and perhaps without the same recourse to 3rd party opinions that you have here.

Thanks guys.

I'd agree with both of you. As the George is on the same paper as the real Lennon, I think this gives it a better chance. Not that this is the correct opinion to take with autographs nowadays...but it seems odd to me that you'd fake just the George (why not Paul and Ringo).

Agreed there are better examples..but I think the John is still quite nice on its own..and if i can get them cheap then I might be tempted!

I agree that the Lennon looks fine and the Harrison is likely authentic. There certainly are better examples of both signatures.

I like the Lennon...the Harrison has some characteristics of a rushed George signature...

Thanks again for the help guys

Well these went for £750...i wasnt prepared to go any higher. This auction also had some fake beatles autographs, looked like secretarials which went for £450...so tells you what people thought of them!

The John is great, not sure on the George..
