Genuine Imagine albums are super-easy to sell, but you'll need it authenticated first. JSA, PSA/DNA and REAL (Roger Epperson) are the most respected. Have you had it authenticated?

Is it not a conflict of interest if these authenticators are also selling product as well?

It can be, but it depends on how they handle it. If they value their businesses, they're fair and unbiased in both authentication and sales. Why don't you ask them to explain?

I will tell you that the big sellers of forgeries always claim conflict of interest. One of the best ways to know if your album is good or not, without any possible conflict of interest, is to try to sell it to a dealer specializing in Beatles, or consign it to a reputable auction house that's active in them. Anything with Lennon's genuine autograph on it is highly desirable and you'll have no problem moving it for good money.

One of the top Beatles autograph dealers in the world is Tracks in the UK (www.tracks.co.uk). They buy everything they can, pay well and do not offer authentication services as far as I know. Send it to them and ask for an offer.
