John Lennon Imagine Album Signed 1975

Check out my signed album. As you can tell, Mr. Lennon (to my full chagrin today) did not fully complete the signing as my pen ran out. It said, to "Mike, John Len ..."

Myself and two friends spent a half hour with him at the Helping Hand Marathon at WFIL in Philadelphia in 1975. Our neighbor, Jay Cook, was a deejay there and we had full access all day.

I sent it to Hunt Auctions in 2012 (where my dad sold baseballs worth $67,000) but they were unable to track down the main autograph authenticator in England at the time. He might have just passed away, according to them.

Its still nice. its just too bad there were no thick markers commonly used back then, especially on slick LP covers. Thats why you see so many LPs from the 50's 60's and even 70's are signed on the back cover. Even when sharpies were coming into being I had Johnny Rivers and Bill Cosby flip over the album and sign the back cover probably out of habit
