I don't like it either, especially the "John" portion of the signature.

should i bother with a quick opinion? , ive spent hours looking at different early to mid 60's examples and find this to be REALLY close...i hate to say it but i got a gut feeling about this, however i def understand there are many more trained eyes on this board than mine. I dont want to waste my $ obviously.

I don't think it has any chance, but if you feel that way you might want to consider spending the $10 for the extra peace of mind. Here's the closest one I could find, which I think shows the problems with the one in question.

send it to Roger Epperson, you will get the best opinion there.  he has a similar service where you send him the photo, or the link.
