I posted a picture of this book earlier this week, but it was in a discussion titled, "Does anyone know who Gary Hein is?" Gary Hein is the gentleman who authenticated this book in 1999. He is the owner of Hein's Rare Collectibles. He is said to be a Beatles expert with nearly 40 years experience now.

So previously, my friends Paul and Ballroom gave the thumbs up, and Terrier commented on Hein's website, but said he wasn't questioning the authenticity. All three of these members have great credibility and are respected members of this site. And I thank them for their opinions.

Well, so now I have purchased the book! My first Lennon ever! I just bought it last night, so I have not yet received it.

So I would like to get as many opinions as possible. I hope I made a good purchase. I think I did.

So please opine away. There is a picture below. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the link, Paul. I may eventually get one myself.

Very nice, Congratulation!! James. I wish I could have one like you.

Thank you, Kit! I'm am really excited to have it. I've wanted one for awhile. Finally, things worked out. I hope you can get one for yourself too.
I would make a copy instead of framing the book.Unless your going to keep it forever and a day.

First, I do love the autograph, second, I agree with Paul. Put the book away someplace safe, and have a nice high-end copy made of the signature page to frame with a photo.

Then you can frame it any old way you want, with no fear of fading, and no need for a deep mat or shadowbox to hold the book.

Best of both worlds....a piece to appreciate every day, and a strong investment that you don't have to worry about being out on display.

Thanks, Pete. I'm glad you like the autograph. Your opinion is highly-regarded. And keeping the book safe is a top priority, so a copy is probably the way to go.
That's very true, Paul. That's not a bad idea. I may do that.

Gary's fine...he's been around for years...

My first Lennon finally arrived today! It was love at first sight! The book is actually in better shape than I was expecting. The binding is tight, and the front flap is secure. Looking at it in-person, the ink looks a bit aged (but still very bold) as one would expect. Thanks to all again for your nice comments. I'm on cloud number nine right now. Here's a pic of the book in my hands.
