The listing says he was ,at P.F.C.

P.F.C.? All I know that as is Private First Class. Lennon wasn't a U.S. citizen but he did have a green card, which gave him permanent resident status.

Paul frasers collectibles.
It says visa date , where the 76 is. So not a us citizen but a visa card issued date.

Yes, it does say Visa date.

Is it worth 8000 pounds?

To the right person, could be. I don't think it would make an attractive display and it's not meaningfully historic, so I would be surprised if it brought anywhere near that at auction. But I wouldn't be surprised if it brought $4,000+.

I agree, its overpriced.
