John Lennon Signed Magazine Photo

I believe at first look most people will say this signature is not genuine. That was my first impression. However after a more careful look at the signature I am leaning towards a genuine assessment. Any other thoughts?

Obviously not too dissimilar but the "J" and the height/slant of the other letters are more typical. All this assumes that the Facebook example is authentic(ated) of course.
