Found this today on eBay. The seller was honest and said he really didn't know if it was authentic or not. I know it's probably 95% a print or autopen, but I bought it for the slight chance it may be good when I actually see it. I figured I'm not out much if it's not authentic. Has anyone else seen this before? Does anyone know if he used an autopen this early in his career?

Well, it looks strangely contrasted and is pink and brown/gray with horizontal lines running across it. It appears of lesser quality that the auction photos in some ways. In any event, I am still convinced this is not hand signed.
That's just my bad scanner. the picture is the same as I originally posted, of course. And ink does come off when alcohol is applied to it (I did it at a micro part at the end of the sig.
If it was an Autpoen there would be ink there. As Rich pointed out it appears an embossed facsimile. The ones I have seen have "ink". Some types of stamps and so on will have "ink" but that indent and the nature of the strokes with the mechanically even waver and the odd "ghost" around the stokes - I don't know what else to say but not hand signed.
Correction - Robert, not Rich, sorry.
