I would appreciate opinions on this SP of Jon Pertwee as Worzel Gummidge. The photo is postcard-size and has a shiny surface. The image is low-res, dot-printed.
The ink appears to be on the surface and cross-overs are visible but I wonder if it is handwritten or produced by machine. I examined the image using a hand-held microscope and some pictures are shown here.
If there are any experts here in handwritten vs printed signatures I would appreciate your input.

Not live ink. And not an Autopen. Facsimile. Pooled ink suggests a stamp.
