It looks real to me ; however, I would get a second opinion. Sometimes if a sale is too good to be true, it usually is. I also know that around this time, Jordan had an exclusive deal with Upper Deck and he wouldn't sign in-person. I live in Scottsdale where Jordan played in the Fall League ( way back in 1993 ) and I never saw him sign because of his agreement with Upper Deck.
I know he signed in Spring Training when with the Sox. I had friends get him. But I don't know how frequent he was signing. This autograph is so clean is my main concern. His in-person signature was more rushed looking usually.
True, he signed nothing in the fall league. They even blocked off the seating area in right field so fans couldn’t get anywhere near him.
Reading books on Jordan, and I have read them all, he was a willing signer when he initially got into the White Sox organization because he wanted to be one of the guys and signing autographs was part of that. However, the attention became overwhelming and the security concerns definitely stepped in after awhile to limit his signing.
I think the autograph is real. Even though it may look too clean, Jordan also is a very legible signer and he gave those fortunate enough to get his signature their money’s worth. You don’t see many bad REAL Jordan autographs. It’s part of his psyche; he has talked about how he never missed games when he was healthy because he knew there were fans there that had never seen him play and came specifically to see him play and he didn’t want to let them down. A person that thinks like that isn’t just going to give you a scribble.
Fake. Not even close.. there is no bleeding into the photo for the age of the signature.. it’s slow..and way to drawn out for someone signing baseline or at the dugout at a ballpark.. sorry but not even close..also the pen pressure is way off. Look at Real Jordan’s. There is a light and flowing pen pressure.. forger’s always get this wrong..
