JSA is passing fake autographs by the hundreds for eBay seller dirty_water_ink

musicandmore-nyc and gothamcitygraphs

Study these autographs protect yourself!!

I came across these two sites while searching eBay. Not a single item is authentic, I am almost sure that this is the same forgery ring that circulated the mass amount of forgeries that GAI was passing 1-2 years back, you may be familiar with the eBay name dirty_water_ink, well I am no professional but I can say that I fell victim to a forgery sold by that seller and since then I dedicated some of my free time to study the forgeries they were producing to protect myself (even after they changed their user I.D. to hide) probably more than anyone I know, and I am 100% sure that this is dirty_water_ink, only this time JSA is passing the items!!!!!!! Shame on you JSA. I guess it is true what they say about the company being ran by children!

How can JSA be considered more credible than GAI if they are passing the same forgeries that GAI stopped passing?

I don't care who you are or what you're trying to prove, knock it off with that tone.  Especially if you want to avoid creating animosity and for people to take you seriously.

Agreed Rich, collectors here are more than capable of understanding how to study autographs. There are very few "rookies" here commenting. I eagerly await Roger's opinion on these items and if he saw them. I dont know enough about Waters to be of any value, but i do know one thing. GAI and JSA arent even in the same ballpark. They may have certed some of the same type of forgeries over time, but saying GAI and the mess they brought to the field, and JSA are equal,  is absurd, and i think most collectors will agree on that. You may have found something out here, but treating other collectors with disrespect, isnt going to win you many friends.

Sheesh, seems to be quite a few of the same people, i.e. Chipper, Cabrera, Machado, Tanaka, Pettitte, etc.

I think this is Steve Sipe, too, because he sent me the text below yesterday an hour before this discussion posted. And according to Google, Rick Johnson is logging in from San Diego, where Sipe lives, not Anaheim, CA. But why would he implicate GAI? Although he didn't say it was Global Authentics/GA, which is the iteration of the company that actually certed for Dirty Water Inc.

Sipe has only texted me before to harass me. He must be really upset he lost their business to JSA.

The thing about GA is they have certed (and continue to cert) absolutely CHILDISH chicken scratch forgeries...

Unfortunately my expertise does not apply to any items being sold by these sellers, although I will say the Machado's look off to me, and the Paul George basketball looks off as well.

That's what I figured Steve. Just by the way the original post was written by "Rick Johnson" it sounded too much like the words of Steve Sipe. Why he would come on here under a made up name trying to stir the pot is just another one of his tactics. It seems to me he is just trying to discredit JSA in and effort to make his company look better. He is referring everything to GAI and not GA in a possible attempt to make GA look more creditable than JSA and the now defunct GAI.

Now I don't agree with everything JSA has certed over the years as I have pointed out in the past however they all make mistakes on their "Opinions" its just a fact that GA, GAI, Global or whatever name they go by these days have made far more than anyone can imagine and continue to sticker these forgeries in mass quantities on a daily basis.

So if GA was authenticating this stuff previously and lost the business to JSA than it looks almost as if he is admitting he knew they were forgeries all along.

Interesting exchange.

I wasn't sure who dirty_water_ink was, because all I could find was a previous 2012 thread on here, but after researching it further through google, I found some information on an old eBay listing of dirty_water_ink.

dirty_water_ink, now known as flagship_collectibles

I did come across one of their current listed Roger Waters signed LPs and I do see some similarities, when compared with the Roger Waters signatures I previously listed on here, by musicandmore-nyc and gothamcitygraphs. IMO, The og in Roger and the aters in Waters appear to be almost identical, when compared to the others.

Let me make it clear that I don't look at all of the music autographs at JSA.  They have me at their disposal and if they chose to not ask me then there really is not much I can do but contact them again about this.  I have run into this problem before and contacted Jimmy and things were all sent to me but now it looks as if some things aren't so I will contact them again.  I do not do country or pop idols for them (or anybody) so before you tie me or them to a tree for a city wide hanging let me straighten this out.

to add to Dexter's statement all of the GAI Roger Waters and JSA Roger Waters are signed in what seems to be the same GOLD PEN!

Roger Waters signed EVERYTHING in gold paint pen on his last tour, I believe he even mentioned it on his website.

Like I said in my initial statement I fell victim to these crooks when they had 1,000+ fake GAI items on their site, I know this is the same person(s) doing these JSA autographs,
