Hi everyone,

Please let me know what you think.  COA provided by Top Flight Signatures who has a Facebook site and has definitely met Kobe and other athletes and celebrities in person according to photos on their site.  All opinions welcome.  I'm new to collecting so any info is appreciated.

Thanks!

The signature has some positive elements. Any idea what year they say it was signed and how much are they asking?

Thanks for your reply!  I've already purchased for $600.  The only reason I have any doubt is because I had Beckett do a signature review for $10 and they said it was Unlikely to Pass Full Authentication.

Thanks. The K is a positive; however, the thing I like the least is the 24 and the separation in the signature. I've seen others similar pass authentication. Can you get a refund?

I might be able to get a refund since he guarantees the signature with his own COA but haven't asked.

He didn't say what year he had signed, just mentioned his wife and kids have been getting Kobe's signature since his rookie season, going to the forum, Lakers training center etc.

I actually think if it wasn't for the 24 under the signature Beckett may have passed this. I never believe anyone who says their wife/ kids/ friend got the signature over the years as Kobe was not always an easy signature to get bar via private signings.

Did you get on eBay or pay via PayPal as if so you can get a refund for sure!

I paid via PayPal...the guy actually seems legit with the photos that he has taken with Kobe and other celebrities on his site which is why I bought from him instead of all of the potential fakes on eBay.  But since Beckett turned it down I was curious about what others had thought.  Thanks again for all of your input!  I did my research too and found some similar 24's that appear to be legit and looks similar to mine.

My bad, I meant to say him and his wife and kids have been getting signatures for years...it's been a family affair not just the wife and kids.

No worries. My gut feeling was the K was fine but the 24 looked off and without the 24 it would pass. For $600 I'd open a Paypal claim or email and tell him Beckett failed it so you can get your money back. Prices are coming down and authenticated ones can be picked up fairly cheap

I don't like the 24.

Kobe rarely stopped and signed at the old practice facility.  I have been there tons of times and only got Kobe once out of sheer dumb luck.  As someone said had it just been the Kobe, I would like it.  The 24 is what bothers me a lot. Ask him the exact details he got this signed.  If he says at the practice facility get your money back.  No one ever goes there with index cards to drop on Kobe Bryant.

Same, the 24 is just off, first thing that jumped out.

Thanks for the reply!  I've attached photos of other Kobe items for sale from same seller and a link to his FB page that lists the one I had purchased.  He's been getting his signature since his rookie year so he didn't specify exact location when I had asked about mine.
