Kurt Cobain autograph

My uncle gave me this Kurt Cobain awhile back, he knew i was a huge fan. Heres the story he told me. I hope for the best but expect the worst. I realize cobains are one of the most forged out there. The thing is, according to my mother, he DID work for Allied-Barton security back in chicago and i have no idea how else my uncle would have gotten this or faked it. Just would seem so weird. Anyways heres the story he told me:

It was a show played at the Aragon ballroom on October 23rd, 1993. My uncle worked backstage security for a place called Allied Security. He said the night they played Kurt was drunk as hell and pretty ticked off at the band and a few other people. He asked Kurt when he met him about autograph and Kurt said the only way he was getting one is if my uncle got him some pot. So my uncle got some from another worker at the club and gave it to Him. Finally, Kurt ripped the corner of a band flier off the wall from the band that played the night before and signed it, under one condition: He said "don’t get the other a******* to sign this or I will burn it.”

Years later my uncle moved back to Ohio and I used to see it in his house and begged for years to have it. Finally, he gave it to me for my high school graduation in 2001 and I have had it ever since then.

I plan on framing it asap and id love to get it certified. Cobain is just a pricey authentication. Id like some feedback first

Probably not authentic. Kurt usually signed Kudt most part not full sig. It's only my opinion.

meaning what?

i understand kurt usually signed kurdt, or very short sigs however what im confused about is, i got this from my uncle and this was his story. he did in fact work security at the aaragon ballroom in the past. i find it so to believe that he would have made up this story and somehow received this fake autograph to corroborate his story. i was curious (if his story is true) i just figured maybe because my uncle (allegedly) talked to him and (allegedly) scored him some pot, that maybe, just maybe Kurt took the extra 13 seconds to sign his full name. im just hoping its real. id really really love to send it to get JSA certified but i just wanted to get all your opinions first, which i knew would be pretty negative lol. im just trying to figure out the mystery of this thing. my uncle wouldnt randomly make all this s#!t up. at least i dont see why he would

First off I am basing my opinion on legit ones I seen. Now as for the story its great. And it also wouldn't be the first time I seen a person misremember a story or straight up lie. Let me explain.

I once seen a person trying to sell a signed Babe Ruth picture of Babe and their grandfather as a baby which hung in there house for years. They where offended anyone would suggest it wasn't real.....Until someone posted the same exact picture for sale on ebay. A exact copy. Signature matched and all. It was a mass produced photograph with a pre printed signature. As people told her and they got offended by at first.

Now back to the signature at hand. I dont think Kurt would sign his whole name just because of a drug deal. You think he knew it was worth more? Maybe JUST MAYBE the signature was handed to your uncle by a roadie tour manager etc. so he wouldn't be lying just misremembering something during an exciting moment.

I am not 100% sure its fake but I dont like what I see in the signature. There seems to be more different than real ones I seen. I have a few questions like why didn't he give the whole flyer? See when I seen "cuts" like this its red flag central for me.

True. You got some great points and thats why im so weary. Personally to me the signature does not look like kurts traditional autograph. On ebay i understand everyone and their brother is lying making themselves sound cooler and have bragging points. Never in a million years do i expect people to believe my uncles story. Everybody knows a guy who knows a guy who did blah blah blah, the thing is for ME, personally my uncle told me this story. Its possible hes exadurating, but i doubt hed just straight up lie to me. Then again id hate to waste my cash on a jsa certification if its a phony
