Kurt Cobain - credit card on Paddle8 - anyone following this?

I apologize if this has already been discussed. But I was just curious how many of our members were aware of Kurt Cobain's Visa credit card being auctioned off at Paddle8.com. The auction site gave a pre-auction estimate of $7000 to $9000 (USD). However, with 18 bids in so far, it has now reached $16,600 with still 4 days to go. Unfortunately, I think I'll have to pass. But I thought perhaps not everyone here had heard about this, and some might be interested, so I thought I'd bring it to some persons' attention.

Here is a description from the site:

"Nirvana front man Kurt Cobain autographed Visa credit card, signed in blue ballpoint pen. Also handwritten is what appears to be a phone number, next to his signature. Accompanied by a King of Clubs Slot Club credit card holder."

On paddle8 they have sinatra card also. It would be hard to authenticate cards i imagine. Also a Jim Morrison cheque signed.
The aussie dollar is low i won't be buying anything plus with 15 percent. I do like that Sgt peppers poster. It would go with my pepper.

I had never heard of them before either, until I saw a story about this credit card on CNN I think. I would have thought maybe a more well-known auction house or site would have had it. I bet they were happy to get that one. Maybe they're more well-known than I know, but I just have never heard anyone mention them.

I just noticed them a few days ago myself.they look ok to me.seems like most things on there current auction look legit.I guess that makes them legit.expecially the morrison and Cobain piece.
