Later this month I will travel to Las Vegas for a week (to see The Stones).
Three years ago I was there for a weekend and the memorabilia/autograph shops I visited were
not very impressive, a lot of fakes... Now that I have a chance to stay there longer I'd like to know if there are any shops that sell authentic music memorabilia? Autographs, records, posters, tour programmes etc.

Nearly every autograph I've seen in Vegas should stay in Vegas!! Unless you chase down some in-person opportunities.

I would agree with Joe. There was one that was more sports oriented that wasn't as bad but don't remember the name and even that seemed mix bag. You will see many fantasy pieces (super band signed guitars all beautifully signed). But beware!!!

I believe the more "sports oriented " shop you are referring to is called Field of Dreams...lots of eye candy...

It's located in the forum shops at Caesars Palace not far from another autograph/memorabilia shop that deals mainly in entertainment autographs...

There's an extensive thread on this site recently about that 2nd shop...it's known as Antiquities...

That might be it I know they do signings and had some good sports stuff but still mixed bag. Now that 2nd shop ho hoooo I would avoid!!!

Stay away from them, Antiquities are full of forgeries in Vegas and California, the new manager of California is suppose to be going on the straight and narrow, but I'm sure he would happily sell you a forgery if you walked in the door or ordered of their website.

Thanks for your comments. I was hoping that somewhere in Vegas there would be this small store that has the smell of vinyl and dust. A place where the owner would show you an original Frank Sinatra show programme....
