These were given to me at a young age because they are my favorite group. I'd love for them to be authentic but PSA/DNA wants your right arm for a certificate so I'm hoping I can get some more knowledge on these. Even if they are a fake. The Queen Certificate of Authenticity is dated 1989 if that matters.

Another part of me wants to know because I only listen to records so if they're fake at least I have two great records to play haha

Thanks for your help in my quest.

Queen are almost definately fakes. I have serious doubts about LZ too....

Thanks Peter for looking at it for me.

Both are fake imo

I appreciate you looking at it for me.

Why don't you use PSA DNA 'quick opinion service. 7.50 cheap. I never used it on multiple sigs though.

That would be great...never knew they did that. Thanks Matt!

I believe quick opinion is only good for items listed on eBay or other websites not personally owned items.

Yes personnel items too Plus they have a 'pre certified' section that tests the sigs without payment then if it passes you get a discount for the card and numbered sticker on the ones that passed.

I think the Zeppelin look horribly bad. I think the Queen ones look very good, but I think they may be fake.

Also with the Zep one...that was there last album (In Through the Out Door), and John Bonham died very soon after. Not sure how you'd get complete signatures on that, and something else to consider is ... WHY would somebody give these away? Even back in the day when autographs weren't as valuable as they are now, they still had a lot of sentimental value for people.

I have thought of all of this Josh. He is my mentor and best friend so maybe giving these to me was simply to inspire me or something (I am a starving musician myself). I dont know if they were an ebay purchase or what. He is a genuine soul though so I am not mad that they may be a fake. I kinda just want to know ya dig?

He is like the kid in the movie Almost Famous. He followed around and partied with the best of them in the 70s and 80s. But amazing stories and pictures wont get you a cert and rightfully so. He did mention...now that hes in his 60s he simply has no use for them and instead of being in a box, he gave them to me about 8 years ago.

I'm just hoping he didn't buy these for a large amount of doe if they are fakes. He is a wealthy cat and I'd hate to see him be a victim of a bad ebay purchase.

Thanks for your time

Here is a Zeppelin photo that I got signed by Jimmy Page and Robert Plant at their hotel in 1998 and by John Paul Jones a couple of weeks ago at a club in Carboro, NC.

Killer!
